Roller Derby acquires a Dance Team

After one very well received exhibition by the Belles Performance Team at the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls roller derby bout in September, the RMRG offered the BPT a contract to be their offical dancers for the rest of the 2007 roller derby season. After the BPT's first appearance as the official dancers of the RMRG October 6th, the RMRG and BPT decided this exciting partnership of beautiful and talented women dancers supporting the most beautiful and talented roller derby ladies was a match made in heaven. The organizations are currently negotiationg an exclusive 2008 contract.

"We all love having the Belles perform and it seems like the fans LOVE it too," shares RMRG Bout Production Director Madam MaimYa. "We enjoy creating and supporting female empowered business like the Belles and would love to further the relationship."

"The RMRG skaters and fans have been so welcoming and appreciative of the BPT," states BPT Owner and Executive Director Cher Fox. "We have partnered with many male run organizations over the years and have never received the amount of respect and appreciation as we have from the RMRG organization. The skaters/ladies thank us after every bout for performing and have embraced us as their own."

The Belles perform sideline routines, crowd cheers, a halftime style performance and dance during timeouts. See this exciting partnership in action at the Bladium Sports Club Saturdays November 3 and December 1 as the RMRG and the BPT finish the 2007 season together.
