Fav thing/characteristic about living in CO? I love our blazing hot summers, and snowy, white winters

Song playing on Ipod right now:Trouble by Bei Major feat. J.Cole

Most adventurous thing you have ever done: I don’t get too crazy with adventure, so my most adventurous thing I have ever done would have to be riding out on a motorcycle in front of thousands of fans at a Mammoth game! Go Mammoth!

Cannot leave home without? Ipod, and a great pair of shoes!

Surprising fact about myself: I love to cook, and think I am good at it! If I could be a celebrity chef, I would!

Fav place to travel, or want to travel to? I love Vegas, and would like to travel to Mexico and Australia.

Describe perfect day: My perfect day would be a hot summer day playing in the water on jet skis, or tubing. Then I would tan by the water with the one I love most, and my adorable dog, Roxy. That night I would take the boat out to a fancy dinner that overlooks the water and watch the sunset.

Denver Broncos Cheerleaders/Denver Outlaws Dancers Auditions Coverage

DENVER (CBS4) – The crowd auditioning to become members of the next Denver Broncos cheerleading squad on Sunday had one hopeful that definitely stood out.

Sacha Heppel, a Denver man with no apparent experience as a dancer, was out there shaking his hips and giving it his best shot along with about 300 women at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Heppel says he used to have a job standing on a street corner holding a sign advertising a business. It was a job where he used to dance like crazy, and get a lot of attention. On Sunday he showed up at auditions wearing a turquoise shirt and tight fitting black pants.

Broncos Cheerleaders Director Teresa Shear said the judges on Sunday welcomed Heppel’s effort, giving him as much of a chance as any of the women. Like the ladies trying out, Heppel was shown the required turns, leaps, kicks and simple choreography and then performed them in a small group before the judges.

Heppel didn’t make the final cut, but he kept positive, saying he would be back to try again next year.

A quick glance at Heppel’s online resume doesn’t show any experience as a dancer.

While there are plenty of male cheerleaders in college football, there are none employed by the NFL.

The Broncos will hold a second round of auditions on Sunday in Federal Heights at The Performing Arts Complex at PCS.

DENVER (CBS4) – It’s not just Peyton Manning getting ready for the upcoming football season. On Sunday the Broncos Cheer Squad held tryouts for the 2012 season.

About 300 women showed their best dance moves at Sports Authority Field. They had to learn a routine on the spot and then perform it for the judges.

(Below is a Web Extra video from the tryouts on Sunday)

The top 60 will move on to the finals next weekend at the Performing Arts Complex.

The Denver Outlaws lacrosse team also held their tryouts at the same time.
